How each mood is defined
A mood is a fixed list of TMDB genres, nothing more. A title fits when TMDB tags it with at least one of the listed genres and none of the excluded ones. With a genre chosen as well, every result carries that genre, and the titles that also fit the mood are listed first.

Every search also requires at least 150 TMDB votes for movies and 80 for series, only includes released titles, and leaves talk shows and news out of TV results. Results are ordered by TMDB popularity. Story Finder does not use AI or personal data, and it does not learn from what you click.
