About PlotNest

PlotNest is an independent guide to movies and television. Its job is to help you pick something good to watch and then tell you, plainly, where you can watch it.

What you will find here

• Pages for movies and series with synopses, cast, credits, trailers, seasons and episodes.
• Lists with stated rules: trending, popular, top rated, new releases and coming soon.
• A filterable catalog by genre, year, country, language, score and streaming service.
• Story Finder, which turns a mood into a transparent TMDB search and explains each pick.
• Official streaming, rental and purchase options for your country.
• My List, a watchlist that lives in your browser with no account.

Where the information comes from

Film and TV data, images and audience scores come from TMDB. Streaming availability comes from JustWatch through TMDB. PlotNest writes its own page introductions, list rules and guides, and keeps them separate from the data. How PlotNest Works explains the details.

What PlotNest is not

PlotNest is not a streaming service and is not affiliated with TMDB, JustWatch, any studio or any platform. It does not host video and never links to unauthorized copies. It has no advertising and no paid placements.

Who runs it

PlotNest is operated independently. Owner details will be listed here once they are published.
